Rest of the day at leisure, later in the afternoon visit Doddabetta Peak - the highest peak of the Nilgiris, and the fourth highest peak after the Anamudi, Mannamalai and Meesapulimala in South India. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Mudumalai National Park via the amazing Kalhatty Road that has 36 hairpin bends. On the way visit famous Ooty Lake, and Botanical Gardens in Ooty. Also visit beautiful attractions near Gudalur - Shooting Spot, and Needle Rock View point, later in the afternoon enjoy a Jeep safari inside the Mudumalai tiger reserve. After breakfast at the hotel, prooceed to Kamaraj Sagar / Sandynalla Reservoir & Pine Forest - a very quiet and scenic dam situated on the slopes of the Wenlock Downs in Ooty. After that visit Pykara Lake & Dam, one of the best places to visit in Ooty and an ideal place to experience beautiful boat ride. After breakfast at the hotel, prooceed to visit Kotagiri. Start your sightseeing with a visit to John Sullivan Memorial, known as Pethakal Bungalow is a well known museum in Kotagiri, and it was originally residence of John Sullivan. This memorial holds a treasure trove of material belonging to Sullivan and his family, the role of the British in the Nilgiris and the traditions of the local tribes. Later visit Catherine Falls, a stunning waterfall falling from an altitude of 250 feet, and an ideal point for families to relax and rejuvenate away from the monotony of everyday life. Later visit Kodanad View Point, one of the most scenic spots in the Nilgiris that provide some of the stunning views of valleys of the region. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ooty.
