The 3 days Kolkata Gangasagar tour will let you explore Kolkata, the former National Capital of India under the British Raj from 1773-1911. Kolkata, is famous for its grand colonial architecture, art galleries, cultural festivals, and many sacred Hindu temples including Kalighat Kali Temple, & Dakhineswar Mandir. It also houses Belur Math, the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda, the chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. The tour will also let you explore Gangasagar, an Island in the confluence of River Ganges & Bay of Bengal. Gangasagar, is a holy place for Hindus, and it is famous for Kapil Muni Ashram, which is considered to be of great religious significance.
Itinerary
On arrival at Kolkata Airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. After fresh-n-up, head-out for half-day local sightseeing of Kolkata, visit Howrah Bridge, & Victoria Memorial (Closed On Mondays & National holidays). Overnight stay at the hotel in Kolkata.
After breakfast at the hotel, head-out for full day excursion to Gangasagar - an Island in the confluence of River Ganges & Bay of Bengal. We'll drive till Ferry Ghat/Harwood Point (90 Km.), and from there we'll board a ferry to Gangasagar, a holy place for Hindus, and it is famous for Kapil Muni Ashram, which is considered to be of great religious significance. Later in the afternoon, get back to Kolkata from Gangasagar by ferry, and later we'll transfer you back to the hotel by car. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kolkata.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Belur math, Kalighat Kali Temple, and Dakhineswar Mandir. Later in the afternoon, our representative will transfer you to the Kolkata Airport for onward journey.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
Cancellation
No additional cancellation fees apply for this tour. You can cancel the tour prior tour starting date and avoid paying the full amount, but the deposit you have paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within of tour starting date.
