Upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, an Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and assist with a smooth transfer to your hotel for check-in and some much-needed rest. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is a blend of ancient and modern, and your adventure begins here.
After freshening up, delve into the heart of the city with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the intricately designed temples, historical palaces, and courtyards that narrate the city's rich cultural history. Later, meander through Thamel, the vibrant neighbourhood known for its narrow streets filled with shops offering local crafts and international goods.
In the evening, wrap up your day with dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, featuring cultural performances that provide a glimpse into the country's diverse heritage. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast at the hotel, head out to explore Swayambhunath Stupa, commonly known as the Monkey Temple, offering stunning views of Kathmandu Valley and the majestic Himalayas. Continue to Pashupatinath Temple (Entrance allowed to Hindu Pilgrims only), a sacred Hindu shrine located on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a local lunch before heading to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in Nepal, surrounded by colourful prayer flags. Conclude your heritage tour at Patan Durbar Square, where ancient architecture and intricate art await your discovery. In the evening, proceed to Nagarkot, a tranquil hill station renowned for its breath-taking sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. Check-in at a hotel in Nagarkot for an overnight stay.
Rise early to witness the magical sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. After this awe-inspiring experience, breakfast awaits.
After breakfast, explore the nearby areas, perhaps take a short hike, or visit the Nagarkot View Tower for panoramic views. After lunch at the hotel, it's time to check out. In the afternoon, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a medieval city boasting well-preserved architecture and cultural richness. After Bhaktapur sightseeing, proceed to your hotel in Kathmandu. Later in the evening, conclude your trip with a farewell dinner at a good restaurant, reminiscing about the cultural treasures and natural beauty you've encountered during your 4-day adventure in Kathmandu and Nagarkot. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to Kathmandu airport to board a flight home or continue your onward journey.

A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
No additional cancellation fees apply for this tour. You can cancel the tour prior tour starting date and avoid paying the full amount, but the deposit you have paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within of tour starting date.

Although tipping in Nepal is not compulsory, doing so is a nice gesture. We do recommend tipping at various instances, but tip higher only when you are very happy with the service. Tip can given after completion of the services from 5$, 10$ or more as per your choice and depending on how much satisfied & happy you are with the service provider.
