Holi Festival - Also called as the festival of colours, Holi is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in India. Year on year, Holi arrives on the day of full moon (Poornima day) in the month of March. It starts with Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi on the evening of the Purnima falling in the Vikram Samvat Hindu Calendar month of Phalguna. One of the most vibrant Hindu festivals, Holi is a festive day to meet loved ones, play with colours, enjoy a delicious feast and begin afresh. Itinerary
Your Jaipur Holi Festival Tour 2024 starts with your pickup from New Delhi. One of our team member will pickup you from your hotel in New Delhi or from New Delhi airport and transfer you to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure, later in the evening take a stroll inside the beautiful market of the historic walled pink city of Jaipur, where the old ways of life continue uninterrupted. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour of Jaipur. Start you sightseeing with the iconic attraction of Rajasthan "Amber Fort and Palace", A UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Raja Man Singh in 1592 in red sandstone and marble. The magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, divided into several sections. It stands on top of an easily scalable mountain, which is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. The fort's majestic appearance and its geographical advantages make it a special place to visit. After Amber Fort, visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace), City Palace, Jantar Mantar, The Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds), Albert Hall Museum, and Birla Mandir. Later in the evening, witness Holi-ka Dahan ceremony to celebrate the victory of good over evil. Among the residents, the day is also popularly known as Choti Holi since the bigger event of playing around with the colors takes place on the next day. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, head-out to celebrate Holi Festival in a very special way in Jaipur, where the Department of Tourism organizes an event meant especially for foreign tourists. The event is held on the lawns of the Khasa Kothi hotel and visitors to the event can have a grand time playing with dry colors while dancing to Rajasthani folk music performed by local artists. Come envelop yourself in the colors of spring! Witness stunning cultural performances by folk artists. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you any advised location in Delhi or to the New Delhi Airport for onward journey.

No additional cancellation fees apply for this tour. You can cancel the tour prior tour starting date and avoid paying the full amount, but the deposit you have paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within of tour starting date.
