Experience Dharamshala, a hill town in Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas. Dharamshala, is also famous as the home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. This trip also let you explore Baijnath, Mcleodganj, and Khajjiar (Known as the Mini Switzerland of India).
Itinerary
On arrival at Pathankot railway station or Kangra Airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Dharamshala. Rest of the day at leisure, like you can visit local market or enjoy a nature's walk in the beautiful location. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Start the day with a luscious breakfast, before heading-out for full day sightseeing around Dharamshala, first visit 8th Century Baijnath temple, a Nagara style Hindu temple situated in a small town of Baijnath. After that visit Bhagsunag Temple (also known as Bhagsunath Temple), one of the oldest ancient temple in India, highly revered by Gorkha and Hindu communities. The temple, is sorrounded by 2 beautiful pools, which are believed to be very sacred, you can also visit Bhagsu waterfalls, on the way to the temple. Later, visit "His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Main Temple", the biggest Tibetan Temple, and the home of the His Holiness Dalai Lama. Also visit St. John in the Wilderness, a Church built in 1852 dedicated to John the Baptist. After that you can spend sometime strolling on the local market at mall road. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Khajjiar, to enjoy some free time in the beautiful hill town, popular as "the Mini Switzerland of India". Later in the afternoon, drive back to Dharamshala for dinner & overnight stay.
It's time to say farewell to Dharamshala Tour Package. Leave on time for Kangra airport or Pathankot railway station for onward journey.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
Cancellation
No additional cancellation fees apply for this tour. You can cancel the tour prior tour starting date and avoid paying the full amount, but the deposit you have paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within of tour starting date.
VISA
It is the sole responsibility of each individual traveller to get the required visa(s) for this tour, as visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend to check with the Embassy of India in your home country.

The rules of etiquette for gratuity in India are a little muddled as a colonial past, tourism, and cultural influences clash. We do recommend tipping at various instances, but tip higher only when you are very happy with the service.
