Phobjikha Valley

Phobjikha Valley is a small town located in the central part of Bhutan. Like many other beautiful places to see in Bhutan, Phobjikha is dotted with valleys and surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. This place is known for its beautiful landscape and pass. Phobjikha Valley is also known as "Valley of Black-necked Storks" as this endangered species migrates to this valley every year during winters. Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park

Situated in the central part of the country, Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park covers an area of â€‹â€‹1,300 km and is the second largest protected area in Bhutan. High snow peaks fall in low coniferous and broad-leaf forests. The park has one of the largest uninterrupted tracks of forest anywhere in the Himalayas. Wangdue Phodrang Dzong

Built in 1638, Wangdu Phodrang was the most visible feature of the Dzong district and provides a wonderful view due to its location on a ridge overlooking the confluence of the Dang Chhu and Punakha Chhu rivers. Wangdu Phodrang is one of the largest dhongkhags in the country. As the district covers an area of â€‹â€‹4,308 km and is situated at an altitude of 800â€“5800 m, it has extremely diverse climatic conditions ranging from subtropical forests in the south to cold and snowy regions in the north.
