Boudhanath-Stupa

Tal Barhi Temple, also known as Jheel Mandir or Varahi Temple, is a two-storey pagoda located on a small island on Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Dedicated to Goddess Varahi, who is an incarnation of Goddess Durga, both Hindu and Buddhist followers come here for worship. The main temple set has traditional pagoda type architecture mostly made of wood, bricks and stone and has a large complex to accommodate many devotees. When visiting Phewa Lake, boating on the island and exploring the temple is advised.
