Meenakshi Amman Temple
Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, the most iconic heritage site and spiritual retreat in Tamil Nadu, besides it is the face of Tamil Nadu tourism. The temple has a splendid charm of its own that mesmerizes every visitor who comes to experience the magnificence of this huge shrine. The presiding deity of the temple is Meenakshi (Parvati) and his consort Lord Shiva is worshiped as Lord Sundareswarar. According to the statistical data collected, perhaps 15,000 devotees visit this holy temple every day, and during the "Thirukalyanam" festival, which is the most auspicious occasion of the Madurai Meenakshi temple, it attracts over a million visitors. Alagar Koyil
Alagar Koyal, alternatively known as Azhagar Kovil, is one of the most visited temples of Madurai. Apart from the religious significance of the temple, it is also an architectural marvel. Reflecting the forms and styles of the early Sangam age, the era to which it belongs, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Koodal Azhagar Temple
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Koodal Azhagar Temple in the heart of the city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, is a unique and famous temple of historical importance, built in the Dravidian style of architecture and believed to have been built by the Pandyas. Koodal is another name for the city of Madurai and Azhaghar in Tamil translates as 'the beautiful one', with Vishnu being referred to as Koodal Alagar and his consort Lakshmi as Mathuravalli. Beautifully sculpted and engraved by combining shades of different colours, this majestic temple captivates the eyes of the beholder.
Mariamman Teppakulam
This divine temple built in the honor of Lord Vigneshwar is situated at a distance of about 5 km from Meenakshi Temple. It has a huge pond in the temple premises and holds the record of being the largest pond in the area of ​​Tamil Nadu. The tank is filled with water throughout the year. Legends say that the idol of the temple was also obtained from the bottom of the pond while it was excavated in the olden times. Since then this pond gained its popularity and the temple was also constructed in his memory.
Meghamalai

Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal
Thirumalai Nayak Palace was built by King Thirumalai Nayak in the city of Madurai in 1636 AD. The palace reflects the perfect blend of Dravidian and Rajput styles. After independence, this palace was declared a national monument and is still one of the magnificent monuments of southern India. The magnificent palace is situated in the vicinity of the very famous Meenakshi Amman Temple. Reflecting the Sarsenic style of architecture, it was constructed during the rule of the Nayaka dynasty.
Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple
Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple or Subramanya Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan. He is the son of Lord Shiva and is also known as Subramanya or Kartikeya. This temple is located in Thiruparankundram village in the state of Tamil Nadu, which is near Madurai.
