Badavilinga Temple

Badaviling Temple is a wonderful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Hindu deity Shiva is worshiped in this temple in the form of a linga. The huge Shiva Linga of the Badavilinga temple is situated inside a small stone chamber. There is only one opening in front of the hall through which devotees can enter. An interesting thing about the stone chamber design is that it has no ceiling. During the day, sunlight enters through the opening of the roof and fills the Shiva Linga with light. Badvilinga Temple is located near Lakshmi Narasimha Temple. Throughout the year, this temple is visited by tourists as well as devotees.

Hazara Rama Temple

Hazara Ram Temple in Hampi is an important temple in Hampi. This small but beautiful temple is situated in the middle of the royal area. The temple is dedicated to a Hindu deity Lord Rama. It was once the private temple of the kings and the royal family of Vijayanagara. The temple is famous for the beautiful base relics and panels depicting the story of the epic Ramayana.

Octagonal Bath

You can see its polygonal structure about one kilometer northeast of Chandrashekhar Temple. This structure, as the name indicates, is a huge bathing area built in the shape of an octagon. The bathhouse is designed with an octagonal shaped platform in the middle and a circular pillared verandah around it. The circular section between the verandah and the terrace is the water area. To its west you can see the ruins of many palaces.

Tungabhadra Dam

The Tungabhadra Dam or TB Dam is also known as Pampa Sagar, it is a reservoir built on the Tungabhadra River, a tributary of the Krishna River. The dam is located about 20 km southwest of Hampi city in Munirabad in Koppal district in Hospet city of Karnataka. The Tungabhadra dam looks very beautiful with water at sunset. For those coming for tourism, the views from the top of this reservoir are just spectacular, and a simple walk on the banks of the river will definitely make the most difficult critics happy.
