Shree Dwarkadhish Temple

Dwarkadhish Temple also known as the Jagat Mandir, is a Chalukya styled architecture, dedicated to Lord Krishna. The town of Dwarka has its history dated back to the Kingdom of Dwaraka in Mahabharata. The five storied main shrine is grand and marvelous in itself constructed of limestone and sand. The 2200-year-old architecture, is believed to be built by Vajranabha, who constructed it over the land reclaimed from the sea by Lord Krishna. The temple showcases intricate sculptural detailing done by the ancestral dynasties that ruled the region and the black magnificent idol of Lord Krishna. There are other shrines within the temple which are devoted to Subhadra, Balarama and Revathy, Vasudeva, Rukmini, and many others.

Rukmini Devi Mandir

Shri Rukmani Devi Mandir is dedicated to Lord Krishna`s chief wife Devi Rukmani, She is considered to be the incarnation of Godess Lakshmi. The temple is situated on the outer side of Dwarka, about 2 kilometer away. The walls of the temple are carved with elephants, horses, dev, and human idols. The most popular and celebrated festival of the temple is Nirjala Ekadashi, also known as Rukmini Haran Ekadashi. Donation of drinking water in the Goddess Temple is considered as highly blessing activity. The present temple is believed to be the established on the 12th century.

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva was built more than 5000 years ago. It happens to be a self-manifested Shiva ling that was found from the Arabian Sea. Every year in the course of Monsoon season, the shivling is submerged in the sea and devotees believe it to be a natural way of performing the famous Abhisekam of the Shivalinga. One more attraction of this place that entices tourists coming to Dwarka is the scenic picturesque environment and lush greenery. Dwarka Lighthouse

Situated about 2 km from the Dwarka city centre, the Dwarka Lighthouse is a 43-metered tower.
