Named after Nagarhole, the park is not only the thirty-seventh Project Tiger Tiger Reserve, but is also a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary

Somwarpet is a panchayat town in Coorg and also the main town of Somwarpet taluk. The important places in and around Somwarpet are Pushpagiri Hills, Kottebetta and Makkalagudi Betta. Pushpagiri is the second highest peak of Coorg and is about 6 kms from Somwarpet. Trekkers trek to reach the top of Pushpagiri and the trek starts from Base Bhabti. Kotebeta is the third highest peak in Coorg and is situated between Madikeri and Somwarpet. Makkalagudi is the backwater of Betta Harangi reservoir. It is famous for its paddy fields, forests and scenic beauty.
Tadiandamol Peak
Tadiandamol is the highest mountain peak in Coorg, at an altitude of 1748 metres.
