Dolphin Nose
It is a unique rock of tremendous proportions, which, as its name suggests, juts out from the side face of the hill. The view here is extremely gorgeous and pays well for the hard work of getting there. To the left and right are the great ravines, one side offering an excellent view of the magnificent St. Catherine's Falls. Dolphin's nose is an ideal place among other tourist places to visit in Coonoor to have a 180 degree view of the surrounding beauty.
Ketti Valley
Ketty Valley View Point is a popular vantage point located on the Ooty-Coonoor Road in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the most beautiful sightseeing places in Ooty and one of the top places to experience Ooty tourism. As the name suggests, this view point provides a panoramic view of the Ketti Valley, the largest valley in the Nilgiris and its beautiful surroundings. The Keti Valley is home to several tribes, such as the Todas and Badagas. There are more than 14 villages in this valley which belong to Badagas tribes. These tribals specialize in growing fresh vegetables and fruits in the valley.
Lamb's Rock

Law's Falls
Lodge Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Coonoor. Situated on the Coonoor - Mettupalayam road, this is one of the popular waterfalls in the Nilgiris, the beautiful Lodge Falls is situated inside the Coonoor Forest Range, surrounded by vast stretches of undisturbed nature. Named after Colonel Law, who built the new Coonoor Ghat, this waterfall is formed by the Coonoor River. The height of the waterfall is about 30 feet through several waterfalls. This small and beautiful waterfall attracts a huge crowd.
St George's Church
St George's Church is an essential tourist attraction. Built in the year 1926, the church is a beautiful remnant of the Gothic structure of the British period. It is an attractive cantonment church with white inlay work and an intense ocher plaster. The church is constructed in the ancient Raj style of architecture with a serene atmosphere. The altar is completely encrusted with white marble inlay which makes it look mesmerizing. In addition, the church houses a collection of paintings and curved interiors. A notable occasion in the Church is the Sunday closest to National Martyrs' Day in which a unique service is held in the Church in honor of our martyrs.
Droog Fort
Draug Fort is a historical place situated at a distance of 15 km from the foothills of Nilgiris. In the 18th century, Tipu Sultan used the fort as an outpost which is now a ruin with a wall. This enchanting fort, situated at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level, is above the Western Ghats. It attracts travelers from all over the country. Apart from the only wall above the ruins, the air is mixed with the oil of eucalyptus and the smell of coffee beans.
Sim's Park
An exquisite and delightful treasure trove of some of the most exquisite plant species in the world, Sims Park is an excellent sightseeing spot in Coonoor that claims to be home to over a thousand different species of flora.
