Adiyogi Shiva Statue

Surrounded by lush green fields at the foot of the Velliangiri Mountains in the Western Ghats, the Adiyogi Shiva statue, dedicated to the famous Hindu deity Shiva, is the world's largest statue, carved out of 500 tonnes of steel. Located in the Isha Yoga Complex in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, this statue stands at a height of 112 feet. The Guinness World Book of Records recognizes the statue as "the largest bust sculpture", measuring 34.3 m tall excluding the plinth, 45 m long and 7.62 m wide. Designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the founder of Isha Foundation, the statue was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 24, 2017. Perur Pateeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Perur, in the western part of Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. Lord Shiva, known as â€˜Patteeswararâ€™, is the presiding deity of this temple together with his consort Parvati, who is known as â€˜Pachainayakiâ€™. Vaidehi Falls

One of the state's captivating waterfalls, Vaidehi Falls needs no introduction. The natural waterfalls come under the jurisdiction of the Forest Department and visitors are strictly requested to obtain permission from the department and leave the place before 5:30 PM. The dense forest is a great invitation for all the adventurers as there are so many options for trekking.
