Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple

Sri Satyanarayan Swamy Temple is situated on Ratnagiri Hill. Ratnagiri hill is about 300 feet above sea level and there is lot of greenery all around and Pampa river surrounds the hill. About 460 stone steps lead from the bottom of the hill to the temple. It is believed that all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled by observing Satyanarayan Vrat here. The temple was built in the Dravidian style in 1891 by Raja Ramnarayan, the then Zamindar of Gorsa and Kirlampudi estates.

Pampa River

At a distance of 2 kms from Annavaram Railway Station, Pampa River is situated at the foot of Ratnagiri hill, on which Sree Satyanarayana Swamy Temple is situated. A barrage with boating facilities has been built at the foot of the hill on the Pampa River. It is called Pampa Sarovar and a boat ride here gives a memorable experience.
